The San Francisco Marathon is celebrating it’s 41th edition on July 29th, and you’re invited!

This event isn’t just for runners, it’s something everyone can enjoy, with over 80,000 spectators. On top of that, all the cheering will inspire the over 27,000 runners to push even harder towards their goals in their respective races. You won’t have to worry about finding space to do it either, because the event even has a guide that will tell you where the cheering and entertainment stations are. San Francisco style!

There are five different race events for runners from around the country and all over the world to participate in (the Ultramarathon, full marathon, 1st half marathon, 2nd half marathon and 5K). Pace groups also help runners and joggers in the San Francisco Marathon to achieve their goals. No need to worry about time limits because they do that for you. And the best part is that any runner can participate. Stay connected with the runners through FitBit to track them and their customized finishing badges, which is free and available through iOS and Android. This marathon also has exclusive challenge medals that you can receive by signing up and meeting certain milestones that are required, such as the California Dreamin’ Racing Cup. You can add more to your achievements and go home with more medals! The perks don’t stop there! The San Francisco Marathon features an official VIP party (sadly, the tickets are sold out) which will reward you for all your dedication towards running. Afterwards, enjoy an awards ceremony along with a beer garden at the Finish Line Festival.

This event makes traveling to San Francisco as easy as possible on you. The marathon has partnered with classy San Francisco hotels to give you an exceptional and memorable experience. There are many free parking places, but buses that run in the early morning are also available so you don’t have to be concerned about the stress of traffic and can concentrate on the races themselves. However, tickets are limited and quickly selling out, so get yours now! Free shuttles are available to runners to get their start and finish lines, and to the awesome Finish Line Festival. There are also precautions for every participants safety. Several medical units have combined to take care of you in case of emergency, so fill out your RaceSafe profile (which will take only a few minutes) when you register. The medical team will respect your privacy and confidentiality.

As you can see, there are many reasons to travel to San Francisco for this event. Whether it is to achieve a long standing goal of completing any of the marathons, jogging for fun, or visiting to cheer the runners and loved ones on, so this is not to be missed. The 41st San Francisco Marathon is a celebration to be remembered.

See you at the finish line!
